Why join 480?

An ageing and growing population, coupled with limited capacity in some hospitals across Adelaide means there is a growing demand for medical specialists and day surgery provision in Adelaide’s north eastern suburbs.

In 2016, MRS Property commissioned Hardes & Associates, the leading acute inpatient hospital demand and supply modeling company in Australia, to assess the scope of need in this area.

Hardes & Associates estimate same-day private hospital admissions over the next decade will increase by 33 percent within the catchment area of the 480 Specialist Centre, representing 24,000 additional private same day admissions per annum.

The increased requirement is in addition to any current shortfall, and the assessment is that the current market is unable to meet this projected growth.
